Attendances and Absences
Attendance will be taken each class. It is expected that students remain at Reservoir for the entire class. Students who drive may leave during lunch time, but must return to the class ON TIME and remain until 2pm.
If you know you cannot attend a session, you will contact Mr. English, Mrs. Smith, or Ms. Brennan in advance. You are allowed 2 EXCUSED absences. You will asked to leave the program after that. As stated above, MANY students apply to the program, but YOU have been selected…do us proud!
Lunch
Lunch will be from 12:00 until 12:45. You must bring you own lunch and beverage or make other arrangements.
Clean-up
Because we are using Reservoir’s art studio, it is expected that you help clean-up at the end of class. This includes washing brushes and water/paint containers, putting stools, easels, horses, etc. back to their original spot, and organization of supplies.
Materials
You need a sturdy portfolio, a sketchbook, and a tackle box/Art Box/hard case for storage of art materials. You may be asked to bring items from home for still-lives.
Field Trips and On-Site Classes
Two field trips are planned for the year and transportation will be provided. There may be some classes that meet at locations other than Reservoir for the purpose of drawing/painting landscapes, interesting/odd sights, and taking a break from the classroom setting we all see five days a week! You will be notified in advance and expected to provide your OWN transportation to these classes.
